...welcomed its first children in April 1995.  It quickly became recognized as one of the city's premier child care facilities, earning a three-star rating from the State of Tennessee.  In 1998, the first kindergarten class was established as Born Again Christian Academy (BACA).  Since that time, BACA kindergarten graduates have consistently scored in the top 90 percentile of the Stanford Early School Achievement Test.

BACA continues to grow.  Not only does it offer an academic program through 4th grade, the year 2021 will start the integration of a structured dance, drama, vocal and visual arts program in the merging of its artistic branch, the Northside Theatrical Conservatory (NTC).  This lays the foundation for our students to be well-rounded, future leaders in academic and artist excellence.

BACA's mission is to offer students and families quality, affordable, faith-based Christian education.  Our goal is to prepare students with the necessary knowledge and values to meet the academic, social and moral challenges that await them and to help them grow in a close, loving relationship with God.

We believe a Biblically-based education in a Christian environment offers the student the best opportunity for success in life.

Born Again Christian Academy and Preschool is a non-denominational Christian school accepting boys and girls starting at age three (for prekindergarten) without regard to race, color, religion or national origin.  Students are accepted throughout the year when space is available.

All students attending BACA are required to have a Birth Certificate and a Tennessee Immunization Certificate (yellow card.)  In addition, students must be fully potty-trained.
